Walt: make a poster about fun thing we do Task Description: For this task we had to create a poster about that fun day that we had last week at Rainbows End. My poster doesn't say much but shows words that described our feelings and the awesome day we had.
I really like the poster that you have created about Rainbow's End. It looks like it was a pretty amazing day! Had you been to Rainbow's End before you went on the Year 7 class trip? I have to admit that I have never been. My son, Aronui, really wants me to take him but he is only eight years old so we're going to wait until he is a little bit older!
In the meantime, we are going to have lots of fun this summer. We're going to go camping for a couple of days and spend lots of time playing outside. We will also do some blogging in order to keep our learning going over the summer. I hope that you are able to find time to blog with us again this summer for the Summer Learning Journey programme. There are 60 different activities to choose from and the theme this year is the 'World Around Us.'

I see that my daughter, Rachel, has written to you already. I'm writing from Canada and my name is Leslie. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team and I just want to encourage you to think of doing some of the activities in the program. I think you'd really enjoy them and I think you'd do them really well!
