Our Guest Speakers
Our Guest Speakers
Today Team 5 was very fortunate to have 3 special quest speakers come in, to talk about their malaga (journey). Their names are Jason Young, Fiona Bakulich and Tanielu Tele’a. What was special about them is they all had a relation to Mrs Tele’a. As you might know Tanielu Tele’a is actually Mrs Tele’a son and Fiona is her younger sister. Josan is Mrs Tele’a husbands close friends, so it’s Mr Tele’a friend.
The first speaker was Mr Jason Young, who was 48 yrs old and came to Pt England School when he was young. As I was brought up in Glen Innes he was to. He has been friends with Mr Tele’a ever since primary through to intermediate and college . Now Mr Jason Young is working at Dysart in Glen Innes and is a order for his company. His aspiration were his parents and his family. Before begin a builder we wanted to be a journalist.
The next speaker was Fiona Bakulich. When she was young she went to Grey Lynn Primary. She is one year, 1 month and 11 days apart from her older sister Andrea Tele’a. Fiona is a funeral director and graduated in Wellington last month. She is now a Senior funeral director for Tipene Funerals. She is also featured in a TV show program called The Casketeers. The series of The Casketeers started last year and next week is the first episode of season 3.
Our last guest speaker was Mr Tanielu Tele’a. He is also one of Pt England Schools ex - students. Tanielu is now a current Auckland Blues Player and plays number 13 which is centre and 14 on winger. Tanielu is also the eldest of 4 children. He has 2 sisters and 1 brother. Toreka (2nd eldest), Justus (2nd youngest) and Little Miss Noelle (youngest). As Tanielu attended Pt England School he had been apart of a lot of speaking and PENN producing.
I would like to thank all you speakers that came in today and talked to us about your malaga (journey) and also give us helpful advice. Thank you very much.

How Many Hours Do I Spend On Screen?
Walt: collect data figure out what is a suitable graph for it to go in
Task description: For this task we had to find out how many hours we spend on screen time. After we invest in that we try to figure out what is a suitable graph for it to go in. I chose a line graph because it shows how many hours I spend on screen time at home and at school. Also because I shows how many hours I have improved on not spending to much time on screen and how I haven't improved and spent more time on screens. If you want to know about line graphs just click on this link and it will take you to a site and tell you heaps about line graphs
